You've read several posts before about our house sitting escapades, so I won’t go into great detail here. But what made this winter unique was the timing of these two particular house-sits in the months of December and January. We applied for them separately, and at different times of the month yet they ended up being back to back date-wise. AND, though they were separate, they were only 14 miles apart from one another!
The first house sit involved a 7-year-old Golden Doodle named Callie. Fiesty for sure and very smart, she was an easy pet to watch over. The house was Southwestern in design and had all the amenities that you could hope for.
As it turns out, the timing could not have been better as it rained about 4 of the 7 days we were there. When the homeowners returned the following Saturday, it was off to another section of the Phoenix area called Paradise City, about 14 miles away.
After a quick lunch, we headed to our second house sit. This time looking after a 16-year-old cat named Lupe. See you there!
